Gloria Mu first made waves back in 2007 with her debut novel Retracing the Steps, which she shared chapter by chapter at livejournal.com. Publishing house AST (EKSMO) picked it up, and Gloria Mu quickly became a favourite with Russophone readers.
After that she released Jugglers, contributed to anthologies curated by Marta Ketro and collaborated with Boris Akunin on Children's Book for Girls.
In 2022 a new novel, The Game of Jart was released, illustrated by graphic artist Aleks Klepnev.
